The Gaia-Field with its thought forms is the ground out of
which our epistemic functions spring. Its all in the how we know what we think
we know. Presence Ecology is the awareness that the natives state of mind and
being is directly within the ecochemistry of the living Earth. It is also a fact
that the native first became aware of itself as a living growing organism. Each
Native taken as an awareness organism is surely a singular kind of being that
grows on this Earth. The Earth must be at all times well, or we perish. This is
the supreme law of life for every mortal native, in every year of time yet to
come. Do we know the ways of survival and the art of wholistic
thinking, or do we merely hold ultimately self destructive information of evil
intent?
Taking Heisenbergs principle that we must include the
observers consciousness in our evaluations of the observed-or in Krishnamurtis
words “The observer is the observed” In spiritual reality we come to realize that all of our
evaluations concerning how we know what we know about our place in nature, is
predetermined by the content of the Gaia-Field. Spiritual realist liberation
means realizing the nature of the dynamics of the Gaia Field, and how this global psycho magnetic field determines
human consciousness. When the individual attempts to grow spiritually the Gaia
field must be wakefully encountered and overcome. When we come home to the moment of perfect a perceptional
transcendence in the fully revealed self before that everlasting beness in time;
our tendency is to recoil back into the past. Seeing nothing that we recognize
we retreat back into historical self narrative. It is a recoil from spiritual
reality, the entirely nonmaterial nature of the inevitable self I am. Self
realization is spiritual reality which reveals many things, amongst them, that
all life is directly connected by being an ecology of awareness. Yet all
awareness has an unmanifest source. And all awareness is immanent.
Each recoil is also the movement of memory and thus the
historical self is revealed to the primordial self by the self. The plight of the Earth demands a speedy response from the
whole global community and through every agency that now exists. Or better yet
through a new international body concerned only with ecological
environmentalism. The severest ecological environmental laws must he brought
into existence by the international court and enforced by a transnational
environmental enforcement agency.
Broadcast licensing agencies like the C.R.T.C. in Canada would
impose ecological environmental educational programming upon all forms of Media.
In the case of electronic media like television and radio these program segments
would have to be broadcast in prime time until all citizens understand the full
and terrible scope of the ecological crisis. In the mean time Transnational corporations who violate
environmental law in third world countries should have their assets frozen.
Rather in the same way as economic sanctions are currently imposed upon rogue
states. Crimes against the environment must be seen in their true light as
crimes against humanity and punished accordingly.
The majority of citizens in the ostensible democracies once
fully educated to the real nature of the environmental problem will become
ecoactivists, and lead the world in voluntary simplicity. As we have already
seen voluntary simplicity involves the end of the deadly disease sometimes
called ‘affluenza” which is chronic capitalist consumerism. No one needs to use
up more than is actually needed for physical survival. Everyone on Earth can be
clothed sheltered and fed. In the world of voluntary simplicity, everything that
natives need, to live creative productive lives, would be found in abundance.
It’s simple to understand that it is time to rethink economic and cultural
priorities.
Even if there was no ecological environmental crisis we need
voluntary simplicity, capitalist consumerism causes the ethical spiritual ruin
of every culture that it takes prisoner. And this is obvious to anyone who
watches the media of the Euro-American hemisphere, and observes how the
Oligarchies of the West and the Tyrants of the Third World wallow in luxury
while millions die of poverty, disease and violence.
Only by the mainstream cultural practice of voluntary
simplicity in the developed corporate nations combined with economic justice in
the third world, can we build the ethical authority to bring about global
ecological environmental survival.
At the environmental summit at Rio De Janeiro the
impoverished famine stricken Third World cried out against the injustice of rich
people from the developed nations telling them that they had to stop their
industrial revolutions and remain in the squalor of their abject poverty. Of
course the northern hemisphere capitalist corporate media were only too pleased
to be able to broadcast this sane objection to ecology in the Third World. Which
they continue to proclaim far and wide and to show that ecological
environmentalists are talking nonsense at worst, and at best proposing
unworkable theories.
Transnational capitalist interests have used Rio, as
anti-ecological propaganda to define all future ecological environmental debate
as an exclusively economic debate. And tried to established capitalisms priority
over the whole Earth. When a choice can be made between living nature and
capitalist exploitation, the message is that capitalism rules, by divine right,
every time. No exception to this can be tolerated, even when it involves
extinction exploitation, as in the case of the destroyed cod shoals of Atlantic
Canada. One example amongst the many all over the Earth. And still no end to it.
The God of capitalism is a greedy and destructive a God who
equally well plays the role of Devil. The old gods in their death throws grow
uglier by the day. Apparently there is no stopping these heavily armed criminals
run amuck all over the Earth, with their God on their side. It is still the wild
west and it is well past time for law and justice to come to the new Global
territory. The reign of the gangsters and hoodlums must come to an end for all
our sakes, and for the sake of countless generations yet to be born into their
mortal lives on Earth.
We must all loose our fear and its resulting apathy, in the
knowledge that we have been born more real arid awake in primal spiritual being,
than capitalist consumerism and all its resulting sicknesses. Everyone must
choose life at whatever cost, anywhere in generational time that the choice
appears.
The problem all over the world and most severe in the
capitalist consumer cultures, is an attitude problem. which is absolutely insane
in mortals like us. It is obtuse and ignorant refusal to behold the miracle of
life. The possessing of the self as a separate self is a free act that ends in
slavery. Absolute inevitable amazement must surely shine in anyone who
contemplates the life of the Earth and the irrevocable ex-istence of the
individual aperceptional self. The individual self is a world in time. To
exclude others from the same open awareness with which we regard ourselves is
mere prejudice, or capitalism or religion or Psychologism. Or all of these and
more. Why are we not grateful and amazed at the discovery of the self existing
as a world? Why are we not gentled and humbled into being truly with each other?
Why are we collectively pursuing capitalist consumerism into the empty void, of
alienation and extinction? Why when each one of us lives so uniquely and
intensely within ourselves can we not ground a culture in meeting at this
innermost we-awareness? A global culture of mutual awareness and respect.
