There is only one place left to find the resacralization of
nature, which is the same place it was lost or perhaps never known by all Earth
natives at the same time. This place of redemption may be called “we-awareness”
it is the presence of the mutual regard that would know others with the same
intensity attention and fascination, that each one feels towards themselves.
We-awareness means that the “we” extends to all life on this Earth. Where and
how can this “we” with the Earth find its certainty and self apparent ground?
Authentic mutual and manifold we awareness, freed from
religion psychologism and every form of ideology is a living growing culture.
Only a global human and humane family is capable of coming to grips with the
problems that now assail all life on Earth.
This at first stateless global family will flourish as a
community of free individuals in the deepest mutual and multiple affinity.
Regardless of race creed sex, or status. The spiritual realist holds open the
wonder and amazement at the intersection of awareness and biology. This opening
is primordial apperception which is awareness- aware- of- awareness -now. The
inevitable self that I always am and fated to be always becoming in primordial
apperception, is aware of the awareness of beness; that omnipresent eternal
boundless and immutable principle. The totally nonmaterial ground of all that
exists is not a being or substance of any kind. Yet we mortals are only alive
here at the enduring of innumerable material things and biological entities. And so there is an
economy of nature to which all mortals are given over in mutual survival. But
this is not the primary meeting. Primordial apperception taking in the entire
presence awareness field and looking out’ is we-awareness which reveals full
mutual understanding. This is the catalytic affinity fire that will one day
cleanse the world. The holding of the self and all others to be true nonmaterial
presence is the spiritual reality of the coming age.
Only from this meeting place this Toronto of the World can
global humanity come to an understanding of how to do what so urgently needs
doing. Only when the natives of the Earth turn their backs upon consumerism and
awaken to the sacred nature of all natives of the Earth. Awaken to the fact that
all human beings are spiritual beings. The kind of spiritual beings that the
natives of the Earth are, requires the Whole living and vital Earth in order to
awaken to the fullness of Self presence in we-awareness. This is part of what
Presence Ecology means.
The technologically entranced consumer is the "last man" of
which Nietzsche speaks. The “last man” will die away in the coming, global
calamity and resulting global affinity fire which his/her narcissistic separate
self in psycho-electronic autism, will not be able to either join or withstand.
Whatever Earth and World there will be on the other side of
the age of technology will be the cradle of a new human race and future, if
there is to be a future. The current global ‘community’ could fall asunder into
paranoid electronic surveillance, suspicion, and war. This can happen at any
moment the global consumerist economy collapses. This Global economic collapse can happen
simply because the living awareness organism, Earth is finite, as the place of
our finite selves, and yet techno-economic ideology is entranced by the notion
of perpetual economic growth.
It is a great mistake to ground global unity in exclusively economic terms. Global humanity needs to take a much more communitarian approach towards world community.
The merchants profit ridden ways make a poor global
ambassador. The merchant always destroys as much as he creates. Always driven by
the profit motive, the Merchant destroys any community that does not yield
profit . This is naked tyranny. Observe the ease with which the democracies do
business with the open tyrants of the global economy.
The Merchants are not alone as the dividers of humanity, the
organized religions which admittedly are metaphysical merchants cause false
divisions, on a global scale.
What the cultures and spiritual traditions take from each
other must be hard won in the maelstrom of the justice of spiritual reality. The
profit motive must not enter into it, if an ethically fit and healthy global
community is to emerge and grow. The global exchange of goods and services
should be one of the many expressions of an a priori global community joined in
justice, universal global human rights and presence ecological culture. This is
no destination in itself, but only the basis for a new beginning for the Earth
and its peoples.
Corporate capitalism pretends to be the answer to the poverty in the world. Yet it is obvious that if a minority take
possession of vastly more than their fair share, then the poverty of
majorities is inevitable. Global capitalism regularly abandons whole populations
to unemployment, poverty and homelessness. Yet the moment that ecologists and
citizens try to protect any area of the natural environment or community the
corporations threaten unemployment, poverty and homelessness.
Global humanity is obliged to bypass the destructive
transnational corporate paradigm on the way to global unity. At the same fork in
the road global humanity is also obliged to overcome the great organized
religions. And their latest off shoot Psychologism.
Global community does not exist if it depends upon economic
exchange. In order to exist it would have to endure as a living reality in
advance of every possible global situation. World peace should now and always be
at the top of every agenda. Global economic competition will culminate, as
economic competition always does, in global war.
The citizens of any nation state should he free to establish
as many of there own embassies of global friendship as these citizens see fit.
Foreign policy and relations have been in the hands of oligarchies tyrants and
elites for too long. And what a terrible mess they have always made of it.
Spiritual realist global community would make secession redundant. It is
impossible to secede from global community because we are always already within
it somewhere on Earth. Somewhere in Time. This is the least abstract awareness
because the Earth is a continuous living awareness organism and presence ecology
is true.
It is impossible to be awake to spiritual reality in this era
and not develop profound concern for the fate of the Earth. The fate of the
Earth is the fate of Global humanity. Strange fate that we meet at a time of
greed violence and threatened extinction. Or is it somehow appropriate, that
when global humanity first meets in the house of the merchant money lender,
everything is at stake? Presence ecology already sees the Earth as a whole living
multi-being. As a bumper sticker has it “If its happening on Earth its happening
to everyone”. It is the communities of spiritual realists all over the
Earth who will outlive all the endings of the age of technology and bring an
authentic stateless global humanity to life as the civilized norm of the coming
age. Humanity and the Earth will become sacred at the same time for the first
time ever, in the history that we know. Authentic history will begin.
Over the next few centuries, between now and then, it is
probable that global human populations, will encounter severe dieback. Billions
will die most probably from the combination of famine plague and the three forms
of war, over food race and religion. There will be a drastic drop in global
population, economics will go into a state of revolutionary flux until a new and
real balance is discovered on a global scale. Which is to say that the now
deeply disturbed relationship between expanding human populations and the Earth
will be brought back into ecological balance. But of course that balance is precisely the balance of we and
multiple awareness in mutual affinity. The world of the spiritual realists. We
will without doubt find all manner and variety of new games to play in the
world.
